Clay Tales Couture
Narrative
In the warm glow of Diwali lights, I recall the cherished tradition my father and I shared. Every
year, as the festival approached, we would eagerly visit roadside vendors, selecting vibrant clay
toys that added a special touch to our celebrations. The bustling streets, filled with the aroma of sweets and the sounds of laughter, became a backdrop for our annual adventure.
From elephants to traditional figurines, each clay creation held a unique charm. My father, with
a twinkle in his eye, would share stories behind the different pieces, turning our shopping trip into a treasure hunt of cultural anecdotes.
The tactile joy of molding clay together lingered long after the festival ended. Those handmade
toys became more than decorations; they were symbols of our bond, creativity, and the simple
joys of shared moments. Even today, as I continue the tradition, the clay toys serve as tangible reminders of the love and warmth woven into the fabric of my childhood.
